As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, we're looking for a Creative Director to do more than lead shoots. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll define the creative vision, mentor our talented team of creatives, and shape the evolution of the business as we expand our reputation nationally.

about the role

We're looking for a Creative Director to lead the creative vision, quality, and evolution of Clique Creative's visual products. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring every product we deliver reflects exceptional creative standards and strengthens our reputation as Australia's leading creative marketing agencies.

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with our Brand & Growth Manager, Photography Coordinator, and Video Production Manager, you'll define the artistic style, creative direction, and visual language that sets Clique Creative apart - building a premium, unique, and aspirational visual standard across everything we produce.

what you’ll do

  • Own the creative vision and quality standards across content, architectural, and builder photography, videography, and editing

  • Provide creative direction across all shoots, working collaboratively with our production teams

  • Continually evolve our visual style to stay contemporary, distinctive, and market-leading

  • Lead the development of new products and creative concepts, exploring emerging trends, technology, and AI where it adds value

  • Build creative frameworks, style guides, and standards that empower the whole team to deliver premium work consistently

  • Mentor and develop our photographers, videographers, and editors, supporting their creative growth

  • Partner with the General Manager and Brand & Growth Manager on the long-term creative direction of the business

key responsibilities

  • Lead the creative vision for Clique Creative, setting the benchmark for excellence across architectural photography, videography, editing and visual storytelling while ensuring every project reflects our premium brand standards (Creative Direction)

  • Provide creative leadership across productions, collaborating closely with photographers, videographers and editors to plan, direct and deliver exceptional outcomes from concept through to final delivery. (Creative Direction & Project Management)

  • Oversee the successful execution of multiple projects, balancing creative ambition with timelines, resources, budgets and client expectations to ensure consistently high-quality delivery. (Project Management & Client Relationship Management)

  • Continue to evolve Clique's visual identity, refining our creative style and ensuring our work remains contemporary, distinctive and recognised as industry-leading. (Creative Direction)

  • Apply your deep understanding of photography and videography to elevate technical quality, creative execution and production standards across every project. (Photography & Videography Knowledge)

  • Lead the development of new creative products, content formats and service offerings by exploring emerging trends, technology and AI where they strengthen our creative capabilities and client outcomes. (Brand Strategy & Creative Direction)

  • Develop creative frameworks, style guides and quality standards that enable the wider team to produce consistent, premium work at scale. (Creative Direction & Brand Strategy)

  • Mentor and inspire our photographers, videographers and editors, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning, creative excellence and constructive feedback. (Creative Direction)

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients by confidently presenting creative concepts, understanding their commercial objectives and ensuring every project delivers strategic value as well as exceptional creative. (Client Relationship Management & Brand Strategy)

  • Partner closely with the General Manager and Brand & Growth Manager to shape the long-term creative vision of Clique Creative, ensuring our brand, services and creative direction continue to evolve alongside the business. (Brand Strategy & Creative Direction)

what you’ll bring

  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating experience leading photographers, videographers, and editing teams

  • Strong commercial content production experience

  • Exceptional understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling

  • Sharp creative judgement and attention to detail

  • A genuine passion for mentoring creatives and driving continual improvement

  • Desirable but not essential: real estate or interiors photography/videography experience, a Cert IV/Diploma in Photography & Digital Imaging, experience launching new creative workflows or products, knowledge of emerging creative technologies and AI, and drone accreditation.
